If you’ve been a consistent daily reader of this blog then you might have noticed that I am a big fan of many or most of the real estate along this stretch of Woodstock from Canton to 92. It’s probably my favorite stretch of real estate in Roswell due to the natural lay of the land, homes and the number of attractions and conveniences within close proximity. Pine Hurst is close to the middle of this several mile stretch of road. The neighborhood is definitely within walking distance of Roswell North Elementary School and the great public park which attaches to it. It’s also possible to do a longer walk to the attractions on Canton St as well. That walk is probably a little over a mile. I have several subdivision videos waiting in the wings and will attach Pine Hurst to this post later today. Stay tuned for more neighborhood reviews.
Honestly, the pictures just don’t do this subdivision or home justice. It’s a gorgeous neighborhood and probably needs some better photography. As mentioned above, this is the only current active listing within Pine Hurst. This new price for 130 Amberly Place makes it a much more reasonable option for newcomers to Roswell. This subdivision is struggling just a little bit with value but I expect the activity on this home to pick up significantly now and sell for something between $670-$680k. I spent some time this weekend riding the bike trails along Azalea and Riverside. We’ve spent a little time here discussing some of the Roswell homes here and the ease of access to running and bike paths as well as several parks. Crew teams and non-competitive rowing make plenty of use of the put-ins and rental canoes available. This is a very pretty location especially along this stretch of Riverside with a view of the Chattahoochee as you drive along. It’s common, especially this time of year, to see fly fishermen, rowers and high schoolers frolicking around in some of the lower lying rocky spots along the river. Many homes here are secluded and nestled back within subdivisions but some are visible amongst the lush landscape. This area is really a must-see for anyone considering Roswell homes in this price-range.
The area is also convenient for it’s southern Roswell location which makes it a little easier to access GA400 for a commute south towards Atlanta. The school district here is solid with Esther Jackson Elementary, Holcomb Bridge Middle and Centennial High School.
