Pie Hole, Roswell GA Piemaker gets a slice of fame

Alayne Graham’s local fame as a pie maker extraordinaire is about to spread to food lovers across the nation.

Producers for a new show on The Cooking Channel, an offshoot of Food Network, came a’callin at Ms Graham’s shop. The Pie Hole, on Sept. 18 to film a segment for a TV show.

“I was scared out of my shoes,” Ms. Graham said with a laugh. “Having never done anything like this, I was very very intimidated.”

A self taught baker who opened her shop just a year ago, Ms Graham has attracted a steadily growing band of fans who snatch up her made-from-scratch creations, which include old-fashioned favorites like lemon chess, chocolate chess, coconut, Derby, orange buttermilk and pecan.
