Understandably, I get a lot of inquiries about homes for sale around Canton Street. Unfortunately, the pickings are very slim. I was one of the lucky ones and nabbed a good one off of Thompson Place. I thought it would be a good tool to have a link to a list of current homes available in this area. I have designated an area around Canton Street that I feel like is a short walk. What’s the old saying? You’re either improving or you’re getting worse…there is no staying the same in any competitive field. My goal creating this site back in January was to provide the best content available anywhere on the web for those looking to buy or sell a home in north Atlanta and mainly Roswell. This content has been in the form of listing reviews, subdivision videos, school reviews, community news and general real estate articles for those considering beginning the process.
So far, so good. The site has been climbing up the search engine rankings, the traffic to the site is increasing daily and the feedback from those of you visiting has been tremendous. I am very pleased with how far we have come up until this point. There is still plenty of room for improvement though.
I am beginning to realize that there is not enough daily activity in Roswell alone to support the site. My goal with the blog entries was to make visitors aware of items of interest mostly in the form of homes that caught my eye. I supplemented these home reviews with other articles that I found to be of interest for those considering moving to Roswell (and those already living here for that matter). I also supplemented the reviews with videos of subdivisions and school reviews as well.
The subdivision videos and school reviews are an important part of this site but I don’t feel like they can or should stand on their own as that day’s daily entry. I need more home discussion here on a day to day basis. The solution to the problem is going to come from our neighbors to the north. My team already specializes in the rest of north Atlanta so we are going to add a couple of our neighbors to the fold- Milton and Alpharetta.
Beginning tomorrow, I will be reviewing all of the new listings in Roswell, Milton and Alpharetta in the hopes of finding more listings which will lead to better new listings discussion. Please keep in mind that there is serious confusion when it comes to what is Milton and what is Alpharetta. In most listings today, agents still use Alpharetta for the city when it is in fact Milton. I will try and clear up this issue as new houses are brought up for discussion.
Finally, I will continue adding the remaining subdivision videos and school reviews for Roswell until those are completed. Overall, we are working to make this THE go-to site for current and future Roswell residents interested in what is going on in their community with an obvious spin towards real estate. Excellent new listing in Lynwood Place subdivision headlines our Roswell homes discussion for Monday. 130 Lynwood Drive, Roswell GA 30075 came on the market listed for $474,900. Click here to view 130 Lynwood. Lynwood Place subdivision is a newer subdivision just off of Pine Grove Road. It’s a small subdivision with maybe 20 homes?
The location is excellent as the community is very close to historic Roswell. In fact, there are sidewalks most of the way along Pine Grove and it would reasonable to walk to historic Roswell from here. Otherwise, there is plenty of parking close to the great shops and restaraunts along Canton Street.
Our featured home was built in 2001 and sits on a 0.4 acre lot. It’s obviously a very unique brick front home with square and beveled features on the brick exterior. 130 Lynwood Drive features five bedrooms along with five full bathrooms. We’ve touched on this location before but it’s worth going back over again. The Hunterhill Estates community is most associated with the entry point on Pine Grove Road but also connects to the Wickerberry Subdivision as well which has an entry off of Coleman Road. I would have to say the best thing about the Roswell homes in this community is in fact the location. This subdivision is very much within walking distance of historic Roswell and Canton Street. It’s probably a 10-15 minute walk depending on where you are in the subdivision and there are sidewalks the entire way.
This particular home is very unique. It was built in 1973 with one story and a terrace level, five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The home has been completely renovated and also features two tremendous decks on the front and back. This is definitely a property to consider for those looking for a great historic Roswell location!
